Adam’s Review of Paradis Plage in Morocco
Paradis Plage; a 4 star beach resort in Morocco offers a tempting mix of yoga, surfing and spa for a healthy holiday. I booked myself in for a week on the Spa & Yoga programme, along with our Fusion Fitness programme to supplement my week with daily 1-on-1 sessions with the personal trainer; my goals were relaxation, rejuvenation and fitness. Just north of Agadir, Paradis Plage is perfectly situated on the beach west-facing.

Guest Reviews of Paradis Plage
A worthy 5* resort! Beautiful. Everything so clean and beautifully designed!
The Yoga Shala has amazing sea views, the staff are always calmly happy and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. They could cater for my multiple food allergies with no problems at all, which was amazing! I loved the breakfasts, in particular. The yoga and surfing teachers are real pros and the yoga classes took into account those who wanted to start early (8am class), later (11am class) and the beautiful sunset yoga (5.30pm), so there was always time to sleep, sunbathe, swim, go for a camel or horse ride, eat etc. and still fit it more than one class per day. All equipment (mats, pillows and everything else) is top quality too. I did up to 3 yoga classes a day with a pro yogi, and developed several of my asanas further, while reaching a near meditative state during the yin-yoga classes watching and listening to the ocean. It was definitely a yoga holiday to remember!
The spa treatments were also outstanding (I had 3 massages and Hamman).
Other things I really enjoyed were: the free shuttle to Agadir and back, to go shopping at the souk every day; a new big bottle of water in my room every day; the stunning chocolate cake they made for my birthday with candles and everything (!); the fact that it’s a great place for solo travellers (you won't be the only one so there's nothing weird about it at all, you end up very quickly chatting with the like-minded people and after that can always decide how much to be by yourself and how much to interact with others);
My recommendations: both the sunrise and the sunset yoga's every day to really get into your practice, all 3 in one day was also great if you're up for it! You won't need any other yoga stuff with you apart from appropriate clothes so this will help with packing. Don't miss the free shuttle to Agadir to visit the souk! For leaving the site remember to take clothes that cover a bit more to respect the local culture. There is a small corner shop next to the resort with small things like food items, fruit, ice cream, water, grains, toiletries etc. There is horse and camel riding right there on the beach as well, or you can book it at the reception for a service where they take you further away (15min drive) for a longer experience, well worth the money. The sun is hot so remember good SPF and enjoy the warm sea and the pool and eating outside, and don't forget to try the traditional Moroccan mint tea on the sea-view terrace while watching and listening to the ocean after a hard day of yoga and sunbathing! After that just relax and enjoy your stay.
Booking the holiday with Health and Fitness Travel was a bliss! The documents were very informative, explained everything that was included, how to find the driver at the airport, etc. I felt like I knew exactly where I was going and that everything had been taken care of! Well organised, safe, bliss from start to finish. I had a response to my e-mail on the same day, had great suggestions for where I could go based on what I was looking for, everything was organised so well and I constantly knew what was happening and exactly what I would be paying for and how everything would be organised at Morocco's end. Rebecca was engaging, incredibly helpful and clearly knowledgeable of the holiday sites and their offerings. She responded to every query promptly and clearly so I always knew what was happening and felt safe booking my holiday. It was a wonderful first-try for me with Health and Fitness Travel. I love that the company is focused on health travels and has great experience on this, which made me feel confident that the locations would be good quality in both the classes and the facilities offered. The descriptions, pictures and clear lists of what is included made easy for me to pick what would suit me but also got me so excited about the trip while just reading about it!
I wish I could have stayed longer and also booked some surfing. Next year I’m going to book 50/50 yoga & surfing and cannot wait to be there again! It’s worth every penny!

Paradis Plage was a really lovely place, and I had a lovely time. The fact that the hotel isn't huge and that it's quieter early Jan was a definite bonus for me. I enjoyed knowing that I had the place to myself after about 3rd Jan, very luxurious!!
Highlights would be the yoga studio (doing yoga whilst hearing the surf wash up within a few feet of the studio and watching the sun go down with it is hard to beat!), the amazing yoga teacher (standing in for their usual guy, who I'm sure is also great), the empty long beach, the heaps of cute stray kittens and the friendly staff.
The room was incredible (given that it's a Junior Suite) and the spa was very much a sanctuary. Staff couldn't do enough. They got coffee and drinks orders mixed up a few times, but I found that quite cute/charming and clearly unintentional. If I bothered to explain what I wanted/needed, they did everything to make it all better!
If I had any constructive criticism, it would be that the restaurant don't make as much of an effort to provide Moroccan cuisine as I think they could/should. The restaurant prices aren't cheap, so you'd expect a bit more Moroccan finesse for the cost. That seems a missed opportunity, particularly given the location and the fact that there aren't so many restaurants close to the hotel. I put this on my guest feedback.

I had the most amazing and enjoyable holiday ever at paradis plage last week. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help me. I loved all of the facilities, Jesse have me a couple of hard but enjoyable fitness workouts. Karim introduced me to yoga, was very patient with me and my stiff body, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Khalid taught me how to surf, although (no fault of his) I wasn't very good lol. I also had 3 wonderful massages, and did runs along the beach and daily gym sessions. Therefore I came home relaxed, chilled, revitalised, fitter and healthier. I actually lost half a stone although the for was good. It just encouraged me to look after myself and eat healthily.
Thanks again for a wonderful and truly unforgettable experience.

Right from the first contact with Health and Fitness Travel everything was so simple and easy. Along with an amazing holiday and package that I would have never considered or found myself, everything was simple and stress free. It was like having my own personal assistant..I will use again and recommend strongly.
Regarding Paradis Plage Loved it. Room amazing, yoga was fab, Spa second to none and staff so friendly. I will be going back and learnt to paddle board which was fun.
A couple of notes about Paradis Plage for future guests:
The itinerary stated that Paddle Boarding was complementary .. On arrival I was advised it was not and around 25 pounds an hour. To give the staff their credit they honoured it and gave me. 3 free paddles but I paid for the next. You may want to clarify with hotel going forward.
As there is a kitchenette it would have been useful to know that I cod being tea/coffee/wine or snacks. These are not available downstairs so would have been useful.
Finally it is fair to say that service is relaxed and laid back ... To me in a nice way .. It felt very surf like... However if someone is wanting to have every thing anticipated and someone by their side this is not the place for them. I loved it.. But others may not.
I travel extensively and it was an amazing experience, filled with like minded people.

Just come back from an amazing week at Paradis Plage in Agadir. The hotel staff were super accommodating and we had the most amazing Yogi (Lovely Nico) for the week. I miss our 3 hours of practice a day! Food was very good and the fitness trainer personalised programmes for us to follow eery day. As long as you are happy to design your own programme and don't expect a structured class agenda, then this is the holiday for you! We would definitely go again. 10/10

I really can't praise Paradis Plage enough.... the staff are attentive, professional and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. They really make the place special. The hotel is absolutely spotless (they clean constantly!), beautiful and had everything we needed. We took surf lessons with Simo - he took us to different beaches depending on the conditions. Highly recommended! There was also yoga daily and a gym - small, but with key stuff like a bike, treadmill, free weights, multigym, cross trainer.
We had a premium suite which was huge, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet had a really great selection (including cakes baked fresh that morning as well as more healthy options and pancakes and eggs cooked to order) as did the evening buffet (try the tagine, delicious).
Admittedly the beach where the hotel is located isn't the most attractive I've been to, but fine for kayaking and swimming, and otherwise there are the hotel pools which are really pleasant and never seemed to be crowded (and we went in high-season August).
I left a week later relaxed and refreshed. Thanks for a fantastic hoilday Paradis Plage!

The holiday was great, it ticked all the right boxes.
The hotel was really high quality, the food was exceptionally good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The personal trainer was very competent, I basically had his full attention for the whole week as the place was almost empty. We had great weather, and overall it was good value for money.
Things that I didn't realise until the trip which might help with other clients:
- the transfer time is 1 hour. I thought it was less, not that was not an issue
- the room had a kitchenette, but there's nowhere to get any food unless you have a car. (But why would you, with the food they offer?)
- there is hardly any fitness equipment, it's all about the trainer. When the place is full that might be an issue.
Overall, a big thumbs up.

I had a lovely relaxing time at Paradis Plage. The management staff we great on the front desk and the setting for the yoga was great. I enjoyed the sessions.
I did have lots of spa treatments!, and maybe next time would concentrate more on yoga, as I had two of their standard packages booked with them. The spa was good, some treatments better than others.
Overall the holiday was exactly was I needed and have come back feeling refreshed. I would consider another trip over there too.
