Finance Manager (Part time, Homeworker)

 

Salary: £45,000 (full time equivalent)

Hours: 1 day per week. Flexible working days/hours

Contract: Part Time

Location: Homeworking or London office-based

This is your opportunity to work as a Finance Manager for Health and Fitness Travel, the UK’s leading wellness travel company. Health and Fitness Travel is soon to be expanding from outside investment to facilitate growth and the role will involve preparing the business to grow rapidly.

The Role

As a Travel Sales Manager, you will be working for a growing and dynamic specialist operator in South West London, joining the company during exciting times of change and expansion and will have a major contribution to the success of the company. The Sales Manager will be a positive and results-driven individual responsible for training, recruitment, management and motivation of the team ensuring sales are maximised. In your first year, a minimum of half your time will be spent on sales. Experience in managing a small team within the travel industry along with a proven track record of outstanding sales and customer service, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a high workload.  


Job Purpose

  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Creation and implementation of a full suite of management information
  • Facilitate and support our Finance Assistant
  • Prepare and monitor company rolling budget
  • Manage daily cash flow within the business
  • Ongoing analysis to drive the business’ growth
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key business stakeholders including directors, investors and auditors
  • Adaptable to change and open to new ideas with a growth mindset
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on pre-set objectives
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant desirable
  • Experience within the travel industry desirable but by no means essential
