Nature Writing & Mindfulness

Novelist and meditation teacher, Albert Flynn DeSilver, will host this special retreat. He will teach ‘Mindful Mediation Classes’ as well as guide you through the ‘Writing as a Path to Awakening’ classes. Mindfulness and mindfulness meditation creates the conditions for enhanced creativity by providing a space for solitude, self-reflection, and awareness. Writing itself is a path to awakening—a process of utilising the practice of writing to cultivate deeper self-awareness, increased emotional intelligence, and overall expansion of consciousness.
Surfing Life: Core Skills for Emotional Resilience and Wellbeing

Health Psychologist and Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, Dr. Anna Friis will be the guest educator for this themed retreat. Mindfulness and self-compassion are increasingly recognised as antidotes to many modern day woes. Not only do these powerful training increase emotional resilience, but they also fight against the negative effects of stress. Anna will teach the core skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, practices that can be learned by anyone, bringing a greater sense of ease and happiness particularly when life feels difficult. This all-inclusive program uses nature, nutrition, mindfulness, yoga, and functional movement to jumpstart your health.

In this special retreat featuring mindfulness educator, Charlotte Thaarup-Owen, expect to experience and learn techniques that promote optimal physical and emotional well-being through mindful practices. Mindfulness will be integrated with the latest science on how the brain works to bring you an evidence-based understanding of a healthier lifestyle.
Heal Your Gut

During this special 6-day retreat you will learn how to eat for optimum gut health. You’ll discover the four phases of gut healing, how stress and anxiety play a part in your health and well-being and how the brain and emotions are directly related to your gut and ultimately, your entire health. You’ll learn the connection between gut health and energy levels, cravings, weight, and hormone health. You will look at your own life and pantry and discover foods that have healing powers and specific recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that you can enjoy to have a good digestive function.
Tibetan Sound Healing

Together with a guest educator, this special retreat will be providing daily Tibetan Sound Healing experience for deep relaxation and rejuvenation as the participants embark on the Aro HA wellness adventure. Each blissful sensory experience with the Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls will be intertwined with yin and restorative yoga and meditation.
A Healthy View

Michele, Aro Ha’s featured guest educator for this special retreat has several degrees and a diploma of Nutritional Medicine and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. Last year she expanded her business, ‘A Healthy View’, to New York and the US with the addition of her online programs. In addition to her workshops, this all-inclusive program also uses nature, nutrition, mindfulness, yoga, and functional movement to jumpstart your health. All fitness levels are welcome, and all will be supported while challenged.

Aro Ha has invited Dustin and Nova, who founded Warrior One as guest educators for this special retreat.
