The Banjaran is set on the outskirts of the city of Ipoh in Malaysia and is a wonderful holistic and wellness retreat that provides rest and relaxation to all of its guests. Expect warm weather in the summer months with temperatures averaging around 32°C (89.6°F) in Ipoh. There are many health and wellness activities on offer at The Banjaran for you to enjoy, as well as the relaxing spa. Jeff’s Cellar offers an exquisite taste of international organic wines and a full range of alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy. The Banjaran offers 2 different types of luxury villa accommodation, with 25 villas across the entire retreat. Employing heavy wood, glass and Malaysian fixtures and furnishing, the villas exude a contemporary feel. Each abode encompasses an extensive outdoor terrace that bears a plunge pool, living and dining area, and a state-of-the-art sound and music system that enhances its overall mood. Enjoy the luxurious space the villas provide whilst experiencing the breath-taking sights of the sweeping valleys, gardens and hot springs of South-east Asia.

We enjoyed the crystal clear air, softest water, hot springs in deep green forest with no other sounds but birds and insects singing. Tranquillity was the foremost gift there.
Variety of caves were very interesting. Steam bath was fascinating. The temperature of hot spring bath in our villa was just right and we liked that the water disposed and refilled each day.
Stayed here for 2 nights this week on our first visit. The retreat is breathtaking in its natural majesty as it's set against the backdrop of a beautiful limestone hill and everything in the resort is built around the natural environment. The geothermal hot dipping pots are wonderful as you soak in the hotspring water while looking up at the limestone hill. Likewise, the steam room and ice dipping pots are set within the cave of the limestone hill itself, as is the magnificent Jeff's Cellar dining room. The balcony of my villa looked straight out to the massive limestone hill, and all around, nature's beauty and splendour is present in every part of the resort. Privacy is assured as there are only 25 villas in this vast resort, so at times it's like having your own private resort. This will change though as work is already beginning on additional villas. This resort is truly spectacular.
