How to Transform Your Body

Transformation is a pretty powerful word and not for the faint hearted. If you are morbidly obese then visually transformation is going to be much easier to sell to those looking in. If, however, you are like most people who want to lose a few pounds, tone up and look like Jennifer Aniston or Brad Pitt in Fight Club, then ‘transformation’ is a tad tougher. I think changing how you see yourself as well as doing the obvious will go a long way to that perfect reflection in the mirror. Genes and body type have a massive part to play and there is a reason why the Hollywood ‘hot body set’ looks great. It is because they are all blessed with what our society considers to be ‘beautiful’.
That said, making clear and decisive rules to live by would go a long way to anyone’s transformation. You can’t expect to look super hot if you do not have discipline and self control. It is not all one-way traffic down the gym and spending a fortune in Wholefoods. You have to nurture your whole self, nourish your soul and the rest will follow, because surely real transformation comes from being really happy inside. No point being a lentil munching gym junky if you are miserable, is there?
Any routine that aspires to ‘transform’ must have balance. It must be intense, yet peaceful, active yet still. Eating well to govern how you feel and not just how you look will go a long way to you gaining momentum with transformation. Food is mood and keeping it simple, yet still having a life is critical in anybody who wants to look good and be healthy.
|Lastly, patience is important, as is having a clear visualisation of what you want to look like. You must be clear in what you aspire to be in all walks of life and your body is no different. Once you are clear, then be determined and focused but not selfish and narcissistic, be open-minded and do not shy away from trying new things. Variety in everything is good for the soul and leads to new experiences and therefore new challenges for the body. Transformation can be anyone’s; you just have to want it bad enough.|
